Moae Campsite is situated in the outskirts of one of the world finest wildlife and wilderness destination, Chobe National Park, Botswana. We are about 2hr drive (115km/71miles) from Kasane International Airport, and 20km/12miles from Kachikau along the Savuti/Linyanti and Moremi Game Reserve transit route.

Our Camping Sites

Moae Campsite, is a new (est. 2020), intimate, open space, self-service campsite. The minimalistic setup is meant to bring the classic safari experience. For the novice campers, the galva-tented cabins are uniquely designed to withstand the harsh weather, but strong enough to preserve the guests from wild animals at night. For more daring and adventurous campers, there are designated under-the-tree open sites where guests can bring their own 4x4 vans and tents (ground or rooftop).

Under-the-Tree Open Campsite [Shared Ablution]

This campsite has a fireplace, space for 2-3 vehicles and where to set-up ground tent. There is a central shared ablution with 2 shared water borne toilets, 2 shared showers with cold borehole water. Also, there is a central standpipe with guests catch fetch borehole water.

Under-the-Tree Open Campsite [with Standard Canva-Cabin]

This campsite has a Standard Canva-Cabin with private water borne toilet, private shower with cold borehole water, standard sleigh bed with no bedding, and a kitchenette with sink. Cabin is made up of corrugated sheets roofing, galvanised sheets boundaries, covered with canvas on the outside. Standard Canva-Cabin can accommodate three adults.
